👋🏼 Greetings! Did you miss the good old days of the internet when GeoCities and personal web pages were all the rage? Well, we had a tutorial on Retro Web Design.
In the tutorial, we guided participants through the process of designing and building their own personal web page using updated techniques to simulate the same tools and techniques used in Internet 1.0. We helped them choose the right colors, fonts, and images to create a unique and eye-catching design. Additionally, we provided tips on how to optimize their website for search engines and make it accessible to all users.
Participants had the opportunity to create a personalized website that reflected their individual style and interests. With our expert guidance and the help of ChatGPT mini agent, they were able to make their very own corner of the internet in the style of 1994. As a bonus, we provided self-hosting options, so they could show off their skills and share their personal web page with the world!
Inspired by GeoCities, this event took participants on a trip down memory lane to the early days of the internet. It was a fun and creative event that transported them back in time to the golden era of personal web pages.
